Hello everyone!
In honor of National Dog Day I decided to share with you the dog cake recipe I use for Scout's birthdays.
You will need:
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 cup of peanut butter
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of shredded carrots
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/3 cup of honey
1 egg
Mix flour and baking soda together.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until center comes out clean.
Frost with wiped non-fat cream cheese, it is okay for dogs to eat in small amounts.
I usually double the recipe and make two nine inch round cakes so I can stack them and have a layered cake.

You can also make them into cupcakes and bake for 20 -25 minutes.
