Hello everyone!
Happy Father's Day!
Each year for Father's Day I like to give my brothers in law a small gift for being such great dad's to my nieces and nephews.
This year I thought it would be fun to do candy bouquets.
I never know what to get boys besides food...
You will need:
A mason jar
Treats
Wood skewers
A glue gun
Glue sticks
Ribbon
Start by filling up your mason jar with a treats.
I used small rounded treats to fill up the jars but you can use whatever you prefer.
Next, use your glue gun to attach the wood skewers to the back of your candy bars.
Trim your wood skewers till you reach your desired height and to create a layered look.
Tie ribbon around the jar and create a bow to add decoration.
I wanted to make my dad's bouquet a little bigger and fuller to make it more special
I got him a few more treats, a gift card and a father's day balloon.
Since the bouquet was going to be a bit heavier I used a foam block for more support.
I covered the block in blue wrapping paper and added the items to the top.
I love the way they turned out!
They were so simple to create and you can make them as simple or extravagant as you want.
What did you get the men in your life this Father's Day this year?
