What's In My Work Out Bag

Hello everyone!
If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen me with my Muzmm Backpack.
We received ours a few months ago and have loved taking it around with us.
I obviously enjoy taking it on vacations or weekend trips the most but, in all honesty, it has become my work out bag.
It's how I get the most use out of it!
So, I thought it would be fun to share with you all what I keep in my workout bag.

I am not a gym person...
But, this year I have started to take exercise classes.
I fell in love with cycling, started kickboxing again and I am hoping to try out High Fitness before the end of the year.
To make it to these classes I usually have to head straight from work so I keep my work out bag in my trunk.

Inside you will find:
Nutrition

Waterbottle: I bring my largest water bottle because ya gotta stay hydrated
Gum: I love to pop in a piece of gum before and after a workout to keep my mouth moist
Snacks: You can't work out on an empty stomach so, I keep some granola bars or rice cakes on hand

Equipment

Headphones: Just in case
Boxing Gloves: For the kickboxing days

Apparel

Hat: To hide the sweaty mess that is my hair afterward
Workout Outfit: Sports Bra, Top and Leggings
Jacket: Because the weather changes at the drop of a hat in Utah
Socks: Thick ones are a must
Shoes: Maximum support NEEDED

Personal Care

Hand Sanitizer: You are touching equipment that a lot of other sweaty people have touched, just saying...
Makeup Wipes: I never work out in makeup as it is so bad for your skin so, I quickly remove my make up before class with these
Hair Ties: Tie it back and if you have extras you are a hero to everyone
Deodorant: A fresh application never hurt anyone
Body Spray: Helps a girl out...

I love the look of my bag (the Big Ash).
It's so simple and minimalistic.
But, Muzmm has all different colors and designs to match every personality.
They also come in two sizes
The best part?
You can wear it three ways!
As a backpack, duffel bag or shoulder bag.
I rock it as a shoulder bag when I take it to my exercise classes.
I love that it can be worn in so many different styles.

Autumn

What I Got For My Golden Birthday

Hello everyone!
I celebrated my golden birthday a few weeks ago.
I received so many wonderful gifts that I wanted to do a little haul.
Your girl loves a theme and a theme was delivered.

My parents gave me the cutest golden card with a gift certificate to Target inside.

90% of the things in my house are from Target so I was stoked to spend it.
I had my eye on these curtains for our kitchen and while we were out shopping they just happened to be on sale for 50% off!
The gift card covered both curtains and now my kitchen looks more put together.

My sister Heather surprised me with tickets to see our boy Andrew McMahon.
Since everything is digital nowadays she didn't have physical tickets so, she gave me this.

It's a picture of Andrew McMahon surrounded by gold balloons!
My sister April gave me gold measuring cups and spoons.
You know I love to bake and the more measuring cups and spoons I have the better!

She also gave me a pair of furry pink bunny slippers.
I love things to be a little extra and they are the perfect slippers to take me into spring!

Erik gave me a new sports bra.

It's black with gold flecks.
I love it!
It reminds me of a mermaid and I love me some mermaids...

Erik gave me a gold magazine holder and a gold pencil cup for my office as well.

I have been wanting some gold accessories to pull my office together.
These will be the perfect touch.

He also gave me this gorgeous white faux fur ottoman I have had my eyes on for months.

It has gold legs to stay in the gold theme.

Erik usually gets me one or two gifts so I have something to open on my birthday and then we go shopping and I pick out a few more.

Every year I treat myself to some Lush.
This year I got a dragon egg bath bomb.
It has confetti in it and I thought that was super festive for my birthday.

I also got a sunnyside bubble bar because, gold...

I have had my eye on this cute Luna Lovegood makeup bag for awhile.

It was on sale while we were shopping and Erik convinced me to buy it because it was rose gold!
Rose gold definitely counts for a gold birthday.
I can't wait to take it with us to Harry Potter World this fall.

We also stopped by Sephora to get my free birthday gift.
I went with the Drunk Elephant skin care set because my skin has been freaking out on me lately and I would love to help it get together.

Erik's mama was so nice to buy me the new Little Mermaid in 4K.
Ariel has been my favorite Disney princess since I was born and I have to have every copy they release.
I love mermaids, remember?
And this was released on my actual birthday.
It was obviously meant to be!
It came with a book full of behind the scenes and I fully geeked out reading it.

I love how creative people were when thinking of golden gifts to give me.
Every gift was so thoughtful and full of love.
My golden birthday was definitely the best birthday I have ever had.
I can't wait to see what else this year has in store.

All my love,
Autumn

Fall Haul

Hello everyone!
Happy first day of fall!
Fall is my favorite season so I thought a haul was in order.
Or as Erik calls it a Faul.

I love hauls.
Especially fall hauls!

Let's start with the biggest purchase. The knit overcoat. I had been seeing so many outfits on Pinterest with a long overcoat and loved the look. I found one at Forever 21 for $75 but thought it was too expensive. I kept my eye on it and it went on sale for $50. I am cheap so I still thought it was too much for me to spend. Then while it was on sale for $50 they had another sale for 40% off all sale items. That brought the coat down to $30! I snagged that puppy so fast and I am glad I did. It is very thick and will be perfect for both fall and winter.

I have had my eyes out for a black baseball cap to wear on those days that I don't do my hair. (Everyday) I had found a few but we just didn't click. I saw this knit baseball cap while shopping for my coat at Forever 21 and decided to give it a shot. I LOVE this hat! I think it looks a little more put together since it is a knit fabric instead of a canvas fabric. Plus it was only $13!

I saw tassel earrings everywhere this summer! I wanted to buy a pair but never got around to it. While browsing at Forever 21 for my Knit Overcoat I found these black ones that I thought would be a perfect neutral to wear with any outfit. I love these earrings. They had a little flair to your everyday outfit.

Every year I have to grab me some fall hand soaps from Bath and Body Works. I love their products. I go for the deep cleansing hand soaps because I need something that really exfoliates my skin. I got Crisp Morning AirAfternoon Apple Picking and my all time favorite Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin.
They were all on sale for $3! Holla!

This was my very first Bath and Body Works candle. Did I mention I am cheap? Bath and Body Works was having a sale on all of their three wick candles. $10 off! I decided to grab one while I was shopping for my fall hand soaps. Erik was with me and we each took turns smelling the candles. We both liked the Pumpkin Apple candle. It smells like fall but isn't too overpowering.

Nothing says fall to me like plaid. I have so much plaid in my fall wardrobe but I wanted to add something to our house. I found the perfect Plaid Throw at Target. It came in a few different colors but the orange one felt the most like fall. It is so soft! It's the perfect blanket to snuggle up with when the weather is rainy or to take outside and have a picnic on when it's warm.

I have had my eye on these copper mugs for a year. Since it was fall again I decided to snatch them up. The warm copper color is perfect for fall. I can't wait to drink all the hot chocolate and apple cider in these.

Let's just say ankle booties are life. I bought a pair of black booties a few years ago and I wear them EVERYDAY! The black ankle booties did not go with every outfit so I knew I wanted to find some brown ones this year.  I found these American Eagle booties at Payless. Gotta love that BOGO. I liked the leather look and the gold zipper is the perfect accent.

It is officially fall today and I have the perfect items to kick it off with!
What are you most excited for this fall?

Cabin Haul

Hello everyone!
I recently picked up a few things for the cabin and thought I would share in my first haul!
Almost everything is from Target because OBSESSED...

Clockwise

Brass Fairy String Light: I have a few of these string lights in our house. They are so cheap and add the perfect touch of magic to any room. Plus they are battery powered. Perfect for my old school cabin with no electricity...

Faux Fur Oblong Pillow: Is there anything more cabin-esque than a fur pillow? This pillow has the perfect shades of brown for our cabin. Plus it's super soft!

Three 5X7 Dollar Store Frames: I have gathered a stack of pictures from over the years in the hopes that I could create a gallery wall at the cabin. This was the start of the frame collection.

Hand Made Modern Wood Round: The perfect addition to any space. Place it under a decorative item or prop it up against a wall and get an instant woodsy feel.

Ceramic Jar Candle Seagrass Blue: I wanted to get a candle for the cabin and thought this deep blue ceramic candle with its layered line design was the perfect fit. The design reminds me of a big comfy sweater.

Two 4X6 Dark Wood Tone Frames and One Dollar Store 4X6 frame: To add the the collection of frames for the soon to be gallery wall. The two frames from Target were on sale for $2.50 at the time!

Seek Adventure Framed Art: Target has the cutest children's brand called Pillowfort. I have had my
eyes on this item for awhile and thought it would be the perfect addition to the game shelf in the loft.

If You Give A Moose A Muffin Hardcover Book: I love this entire series by Laura Joffe Numeroff.
Any book about a moose belongs at the cabin. He'll fit right in with our vintage Bernstein Bear books.

Three 8X10 Dollar Store Picture Frames: Just adding to the collection...

18 X 30 Arrow Doormat: The cabin was in desperate need of a new doormat. I saw this one and thought the arrows were a nice touch for the cabin.

Artificial Three Leaf Plant: I am not sure how this guy slipped through the cracks but he did not make it into the picture. I love the look of plants when decorating. We don't get to make it to the cabin as often as we would like so an artificial plant is the way to go. I think it would look particularly good placed on top of the wood round.

It was so fun to gather all of these items up for the cabin and pick a spot out in my mind of where to put them.
Plus who doesn't love a good shopping spree?
I can't wait to do another haul.
What are your favorite types of hauls?
